In a significant development, the Taiwanese chip giant TSMC has received the first partial permit for its planned news factory in the state capital of Saxony, Dresden. The factory, which is being hailed as an important milestone in its construction, is set to create 2,000 new jobs in the region.

Saxony's Prime Minister, Michael Kretschmer, has welcomed this development, expressing his enthusiasm for the project. The factory, according to Kretschmer, is located in the heart of Dresden.

The construction of the TSMC news is expected to involve a total investment of 10 billion euros, with half of that being subsidies. However, specific details about the subsidies have not been disclosed yet.

The State Directorate has been appointed as the competent supervisory authority for the project. With the receipt of the partial permit, construction of production, power supply facilities, ancillary buildings can now commence.

The architectural firm responsible for planning the new building at the TSMC news is HPP Architekten. The factory's north section has also received a partial permit for high-rise construction.

The TSMC news in Dresden is poised to contribute significantly to the local economy, with its ambitious job creation target of 2,000 new jobs. This development is a testament to the ongoing commitment to technological advancement and economic growth in the region.
