QuakeCon 2025 Highlights: Personalized DOOM: The Dark Ages PC Offerings, $10,000 Mod Contest, RTX Showcases, and More Exciting Features
Get ready for an exciting gaming event as GeForce Summer Nights takes centre stage at QuakeCon 2025! This four-day celebration of all things gaming, scheduled from August 7th to 10th in Texas, is set to be bigger and better than ever.
This year, GeForce Summer Nights promises a plethora of opportunities to win fantastic prizes. From game codes to custom-wrapped DOOM: The Dark Ages GeForce RTX 5090, there's something for everyone. The contest is open to owners of the best modded PCs and scratch-built systems, with the winners being contacted with details of how to claim their prizes, courtesy of ASUS, Falcon Northwest, and MAINGEAR.
The highlight of the event is the QuakeCon Mod Contest, hosted by GeForce Garage. Previous winners are ineligible to re-enter unless significant modifications have been performed and at least 75% of the work must have been completed by the entrant. The winners of the custom PCs will not only take home these amazing machines but also receive gift cards for custom cables from Bespoke Baka, gift cards for Bitspower watercooling components, TRYX All In One CPU coolers, and the grand prize winner will even be flown to the GeForce HQ in California.
The GeForce booth at QuakeCon 2025 will also offer a chance to win prizes, including customized DOOM: The Dark Ages PCs, GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, and more. To enter the competition to win one of the 3 custom PCs, visitors must grab a stamp card at the GeForce booth, get 3 stamps from demo stations, and follow the instructions on the card.
The demo stations at the GeForce booth will feature a variety of games such as DOOM: The Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Doom 2: RAY TRACED, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and others. GeForce Evangelist Jacob Freeman will also be streaming playing DOOM: The Dark Ages live from QuakeCon on August 9th, from 6 to 8PM PT.
Other opportunities for swag and prizes will be available at QuakeCon 2025. In total, $10,000 worth of prizes will be given away, which is more than last year.
