Quang Ninh Welcomes Two Major Industrial Projects, Boosting Capacity and Diversity

Quang Ninh province has witnessed significant industrial growth with the inauguration of two major projects. The Dong Mai Industrial Cluster, developed by Tan Dai Duong, and the Titan project by Frasers Property, have both come online, bolstering the province's industrial landscape.

The Dong Mai Industrial Cluster, spread over 16 hectares, opened its doors with a total investment of VND281 billion ($10.65 million). This cluster, now the seventh fully serviced industrial cluster in Quang Ninh, covers more than 373 hectares in total. It offers advantages for manufacturers in food and beverage, footwear, wood, and metal processing.

Meanwhile, Frasers Property's Titan project, a $26.4 million warehouse and workshop development, began construction. This 8.3-hectare project is Frasers Property's second development at the Dong Mai Industrial Park. Notably, the project secured leases for around 60% of its warehouse space before construction even started, indicating strong demand.

In another development, the Vina CoreMax Vietnam Plant, focusing on producing nickel sulfate and cobalt sulfate crystals crucial for the lithium-ion battery industry, was inaugurated. This CoreMax Group project, located in the Nam Tien Phong Industrial Park, has an expected annual output of nearly 49,280 tons.

These projects not only expand Quang Ninh's industrial capacity but also diversify its manufacturing sectors. The Titan project's pre-lease success signals a robust industrial demand, while the Vina CoreMax Vietnam Plant strengthens the province's position in the growing lithium-ion battery industry.
