Quectel Unveils QLM29H: Dual-Band GNSS Receiver for Versatile Applications
Quectel Wireless Solutions has introduced the QLM29H, a new range of dual-band, multi-constellation GNSS receivers. This device is designed to support a wide array of customer applications, from broadband global area network (BGAN) to industrial IoT and automotive communications.
The QLM29H is a versatile device, suited for applications such as micromobility, precision agriculture, navigation, insurance telematics, and tractor steering systems. It combines the LC29H GNSS module with an integrated GNSS patch antenna, simplifying RF design for customers.
The device offers superior positioning performance, even in weak signal areas or when GNSS signals are not available, thanks to its dead reckoning function. It supports dual-band L1 and L5 signals, providing multipath mitigation in challenging environments like urban canyons.
The QLM29H provides enhanced accuracy, with autonomous mode offering 1-meter precision and RTK mode achieving centimeter-level precision. It also offers enhanced sensitivity and anti-interference capability with its internal LNA, diplexer, and SAW filters.
The Quectel QLM29H supports concurrent reception of global and regional GNSS constellations, ensuring reliable positioning worldwide. It is RoHS compliant, operates in a wide temperature range, and has compact dimensions. With its flexible integrations and simplified RF design, the QLM29H is an attractive solution for various use cases, including tractor steering systems and mining.
