Query examination:

The Geometry C, the latest electric vehicle (EV) offering from Geometry Auto - a new EV brand under Geely - has been making waves in foreign markets, particularly in emerging regions such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the Geometry C features ITCS 3.0 battery intelligent temperature control system, heat pump air-conditioning system, and lightweight body technology. It boasts a motor that can produce a maximum power output of 208HP and a peak torque of 310Nm, and can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 7.7 seconds.

The Geometry C offers two different battery packs: a 53kWh and a 70kWh, with corresponding NEDC ranges of 400KM and 550KM respectively. Impressively, the vehicle can operate under extreme temperatures between -30°C and 55°C, and it can increase the cruising range by about 20% in low-temperature environments.

Geometry C's success in foreign markets is a significant contribution to Geely's global EV export growth. In the first half of 2025, Geely's global NEV (New Energy Vehicle) sales reached 725,000 units, with exports increasing 307% year-over-year. Geely's localization strategy, with CKD operations underway in countries like Egypt and Indonesia, has played a crucial role in this growth.

While the Geometry C is still growing abroad and benefits from Geely’s extensive industry partnerships and export scale, it faces strong competition from more established international efforts. EV brands like NIO, Xpeng, BYD, and Aiways have also taken the lead in exporting their models to overseas markets.

For instance, NIO has already expanded to Norway, and Xpeng focuses more on premium segments and is expanding selectively in European and Southeast Asian countries. BYD, which generally leads in volume and global sales, has strong penetration in numerous overseas markets. Aiways, like Geometry, targets a niche in Europe and other select markets with competitive EV models.

Despite the competition, Geometry's commitment to cost-effective, mass-market EVs combined with strategic localization could help the Geometry C carve out a solid presence in these markets. The exported Geometry C models will depart from Modern port, Xiamen, and are destined for the Israeli and European markets, with Belarussia being one of the European destinations.

In summary, the Geometry C is performing well in emerging foreign markets and is a significant contributor to Geely’s global EV export growth. However, it is still developing its competitive position relative to the larger global presence and brand recognition of NIO, Xpeng, BYD, and Aiways.

As the trend towards electric and intelligent cars continues to gain momentum, it is exciting to see Geometry Auto and other Chinese EV brands making their mark on the global stage.

  1. The Geometry C, equipped with advanced technology, positions itself as a new energy vehicle (new energy vehicles) in the global market, seeking to challenge established brands in the industry.
  2. With the export of Geometry C models through Xiamen port, it is expected that the application of new technology in new energy vehicles (new energy vehicles) will gradually promote a shift towards electric and intelligent cars globally.
