Raxio, Laser Light Team Up to Transform Africa's Digital Landscape

Raxio Group and Laser Light Africa have joined forces to revolutionise Africa's digital landscape. The partnership, led by Raxio's CEO Robert Skjødt, aims to enhance internet connectivity, reduce costs, and boost sustainability. It will create new jobs and training programmes in construction, operations, and network management.

The collaboration combines Raxio's state-of-the-art Tier III data centres with Laser Light's cutting-edge optical network. This integration will reduce latency, improve reliability, and bolster security. The first phase will commence in Angola in 2026, leveraging Raxio's newest data centre in Luanda.

The partnership will focus on integrating infrastructure, expanding interconnectivity, enabling edge computing, and ensuring regulatory alignment. It targets seven high-growth African markets: Angola, DRC, Ethiopia, Côte d'Ivoire, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Uganda.
