The Surface Laptop 13-inch starts from £899 in the UK, $899 in the US, and AU$1,699 in Australia for the 256GB model. The 512GB option costs £/$999 and AU$1,899 respectively. The previous Surface Laptop 7 transforms into the Surface Laptop 13.8-inch, retailing with a marginally more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus/Elite, whilst the 15-inch Surface Laptop remains.

Design

While the Surface Laptop may not have undergone a full reinvention, it maintains its quality build, underneath a sleek and familiar design. Gone is the proprietary magnetic connector for charging, requiring users to plug into one of the two USB-C ports. The laptop's build quality is unmatched among Copilot+ laptops, with minute details reflecting thoughtful usability – from the smooth-yet-rigid hinge to easy opening lid mechanism.
