Renault KWID Marks 10 Years With Exclusive Anniversary Edition
Renault India is celebrating a decade of its popular hatchback, the KWID, with a special 10th Anniversary Edition. The limited-run model, based on the Techno variant, boasts exclusive touches and enhanced features.
The 10th Anniversary Edition KWID comes in two striking dual-tone color options: Fiery Red with Black Roof and Shadow Grey with Black Roof. It stands out with shiny black Flex Wheels, anniversary decals, and a yellow grille insert. Inside, the cabin is adorned with themed seat fabrics featuring yellow accents and a leatherette steering wheel with contrast stitching. Illuminated scuff plates complete the exclusive package.
Powering the anniversary edition is the 1.0L SCe engine, offering a balance between efficiency and everyday usability. It also provides an impressive 184 mm ground clearance. Safety has been upgraded across the range, with 3-point seatbelts for every seat and six airbags in the Climber variant. The 10th Anniversary Edition is priced at ₹5.14 lakh (MT) and ₹5.63 lakh (AMT), ex-showroom pan-India.
Only 500 units of the 10th Anniversary Edition will be produced, making it a rare and coveted addition to the Renault KWID family. The KWID remains one of India's most affordable cars, with prices starting at ₹4.29 lakh for the base variant and the AMT variant available from ₹4.99 lakh.
