Singer Reimagined, the renowned Porsche tuner based in Southern California, has expanded its horizons with the launch of its Heritage Collection watches. Since 2009, the company has been making waves in the automotive world with its restomods of Porsche 911s, and now it's bringing that same level of craftsmanship to the world of watchmaking.

The Heritage Collection watches are housed in an in-house designed stainless steel case, measuring 38.8mm across and 11.75mm thick. They are equipped with the 1974 Valjoux 236 hand-wound chronograph movement, a column-wheel mechanism that offers a power reserve of 48 hours and a 3-Hz beat rate.

The use of the Valjoux 236 is strategic. Its historical significance, mechanical excellence, and alignment with Singer Reimagined's brand identity make it an ideal choice for these watches. The caliber, known for its reliability and aesthetics, allows Singer to tap into the nostalgia of classic watchmaking while offering a modern twist.

Though specific details about the modifications made to the caliber are not provided, it's clear that Singer has rebuilt, refined, and restored the Valjoux 236 to meet modern standards while maintaining its original character. The aesthetics of the modernized caliber have been refined with frosted bridges, rhodium plating, and polished chamfers.

The dial of the Heritage Collection watches is the main focus, featuring hallmark orange-lumed skeletonized sword hands and a golden chapter ring with a fluted design. The watches are available in two dial colors: olive green and black.

Each Heritage Collection watch comes with a "Restored by Singer" engraving on the movement, visible through the exhibition caseback. The watches are limited to 100 units in total and are available for purchase on Singer's website and at trusted retailers.

The Heritage Collection is a new addition to Singer Reimagined's watch lineup, keeping things traditional but with a good reason. With a suggested retail price of 16,700 CHF (~$18,931), these limited-edition watches are sure to appeal to enthusiasts who appreciate vintage watchmaking with a modern twist. The watches feature a round case without a bezel, making them a stylish addition to any collection.
