Revolutionary E-Paper Exhibit Eschews Battery Power for Operation
Wirelessly Powered E-Paper Display, Coming Soon!
Get ready for a revolutionary e-paper display that operates wire-free, thanks to the innovative wireless power module by Wi-Charge. Say goodbye to swappable batteries and hello to uninterrupted display function through power transmission via this wireless power module.
In partnership with Silicon Valley-based display tech manufacturer, Digital View, Wi-Charge is set to launch a 13-inch E Ink Spectra 6 e-paper display. Featuring an integrated wireless power receiver, the display will stay powered as long as it's within range of the wireless power module. The on-board Wi-Fi unit ensures content for display stays fresh and updated at your desired schedule.
The Wi-Charge wireless power module transmits several watts of power at distances of up to 30 feet using infrared beams. These beams are safe and targeted, not spreading radiation. A single power transmitter can charge several devices within range.
E-paper displays, known for their frugal power requirements, pair perfectly with the Spectra 6 technology. Unlike comparable 13-inch LCD or LED displays, e-paper displays only draw power when the display changes and consume minimal power when static.
This display promises multiple advantages: almost effortless installation anywhere, mobility for advertising or information purposes, and a sleek, wire-free aesthetic, particularly when placed against a glass wall.
Wi-Charge handles the power aspect, while Digital View is in charge of the display and related electronics. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Digital View specializes in LCD controllers. In the realm of SaaS digital signage CMS companies, they're among the pioneers.
While partnership details between Wi-Charge and Digital View remain unknown, their combined expertise could revolutionize e-paper displays with a cable-free experience. In the past, Wi-Charge has introduced products like the Wi-Poster, a 31-inch large-format color E-Ink display, powered wirelessly. So, stay tuned for potential partnership announcements!
