Rumble Partners with Perplexity to Boost Video Platform Discoverability

Rumble (NASDAQ:RUM) has partnered with AI answer engine company Perplexity to enhance its video platform. Financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed. The collaboration aims to integrate AI-powered tools and boost news discoverability on Rumble.

Perplexity's search technology will be progressively integrated into Rumble.com, starting with the introduction of Comet, a new product from Perplexity. Comet will be promoted across the Rumble ecosystem, including the Rumble Advertising Center.

The partnership also introduces a new subscription bundle, combining both companies' premium plans. Rumble shares initially rose as much as 21% after hours but later retreated to 13%-14% levels.

Rumble's partnership with Perplexity is set to enhance video platform news discoverability and introduce new subscription options. The integration of Perplexity's search technology and the launch of Comet are expected to benefit both companies and their users.
