Microsoft announced in February that they'd be pulling the plug on Skype on May 5. Users also have the option to transfer their contacts and conversations.

If you had a Skype number or a calling subscription, those automatic renewals have ceased on April 3. You can still dial through the web portal or Teams to make calls, but keep in mind that your numbers won't expire until your subscription does.
