Solaris Unveils B18.b: Electric Articulated Bus with 630km Range
Solaris has unveiled the B18.b, its newest electric articulated bus, at Busworld Europe. This vehicle boasts an impressive range and passenger capacity, along with advanced auto charging capabilities.
The B18.b can transport up to 146 passengers and travel up to 630 kilometres on a single charge. Its comfort is enhanced by Active Suspension Control. Powering this bus is the BYD eBus Platform 3.0, featuring advanced auto Cell-to-Chassis technology with thin Blade Batteries integrated into the chassis.
The B18.b offers flexible charging options. A single gun can charge up to 300kWh, while a pantograph can reach a maximum of 600kWh. This allows for a quick recharge from 20% to 100% in less than 2 hours.
The B18.b, introduced by Solaris at Busworld Europe, sets new standards for electric articulated buses. With its long range, high passenger capacity, and efficient advance auto charging, it promises to revolutionise public transport.
