Speedywash Introduces Portable Car Brush Cleaning System Known as "Basic Battery", for Nufam 2025
The mobile brush washing industry is set for a shake-up with Speedywash's latest innovation, the "Basic Battery". This revolutionary system is set to make its debut at this year's NUFAM in Karlsruhe, scheduled for September 25 to 28, 2025.
The "Basic Battery" is a battery-powered version of Speedywash's popular "Basic" and "Basic Diesel" models. It is designed for portability and efficiency, offering a compact, mobile design that allows easy transportation and setup. The system is powered by a lithium-ion battery and comes with an integrated water tank that can be filled manually.
One of the key features of the "Basic Battery" is its flexibility. It can operate independently of water and power connections at approved washing stations, making it ideal for use in various locations. It also boasts user-friendly controls and, optionally, a water-saving system that deactivates individual nozzles based on vehicle height to conserve water.
For those dealing with challenging vehicle geometries, the "Basic Battery" can be equipped with an electric brush tilt for added versatility. The system is available in washing heights ranging from 3.2 to 4.4 meters, with increments of five centimeters each, ensuring it can cater to a wide range of vehicles.
Speedywash claims that the "Basic Battery" is the most cost-effective solution in their portfolio. With an operating time of approximately four hours on a fully charged battery, it offers a practical solution for efficient cleaning. Charging the "Basic Battery" up to 80% takes about 75 minutes, and a full charge takes around 110 minutes.

Roland Hontsch, technical fleet manager of Transport Betz GmbH in Malsch, has confirmed a positive experience with the "Basic" model from Speedywash. With the "Basic Battery", Speedywash promises to bring the same high-quality cleaning performance to a more portable and cost-effective package.
