SpaceX's satellite internet service, Starlink, has introduced a new offer for Canadians. Eligible customers can receive the Starlink hardware kit for free under this promotion, but it's important to note that the offer is not universal and is only available in select regions across the country.

The 12-month Residential Service Option, which allows new customers to get the kit at no cost by committing to a year of service, is available in certain markets where Starlink has availability for that offer. To check if the free hardware kit offer and the 12-month discounted service plan are available in your specific area in Canada, you should visit the official Starlink website and enter your address or service location in their coverage and availability checker tool.

Availability depends on local bandwidth capacity and service demand, so eligibility varies even within provinces. It's worth noting that there is also a related offer where the Standard Kit is discounted by 50% to $249 CAD for the 12-month discounted residential plan, but this, too, is subject to availability by region.

The Starlink hardware kit includes the antenna, mounting hardware, router, and cables. The offer allows a 30-day trial period with a full refund option, and if customers cancel after the trial or break any terms, they will be charged a prorated Change Fee. The initial Change Fee is C$499, which gradually reduces over the 12-month period.

While the offer is not available in pockets in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Yukon, it is almost available everywhere else in Canada. The free hardware offer is conditional on subscribing to a 12-month Residential service plan.

In Germany, the Starlink offer is available in limited regions, and Australia is also participating but only in certain areas. Interestingly, the Starlink hardware kit is available nationwide in Italy.

In an exciting twist, users who purchase a Tesla and find that our content helped in their decision can use a referral link for three months of Full Self-Driving (FSD).

So, if you're living in the right location and looking for a reliable satellite internet service, the Starlink offer might be worth considering. Just remember to check the availability directly on Starlink’s website for your exact address to confirm eligibility for the free or discounted hardware promotion with the 12-month plan.
