Tata Electronics & Bosch Ink MoU to Boost India's Electronics Manufacturing

Tata Electronics and Bosch have inked a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the electronics and semiconductor sectors. The partnership aims to bolster India's supply chain resilience and establish a global leadership position for the country's electronics manufacturing sector.

The MoU was signed by Dr Randhir Thakur, CEO & MD of Tata Electronics, and Dirk Kress, Executive Vice President of Semiconductor Operations at Bosch. The exact details of local projects within the electronics manufacturing services for vehicle interiors have not been publicly disclosed.

The collaboration will explore local projects within Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) for vehicle electronics. Additionally, the companies will work together on chip packaging and manufacturing at Tata Electronics' upcoming facilities in Assam and Gujarat. Kress highlighted the increasing demand for advanced automotive electronics and the strategic importance of this partnership for the automotive sector in India.
