Three variants of the new Model Y from Tesla now available for purchase, with the base price holding steady at 44,990 Euros.
The electric vehicle landscape in Europe continues to evolve, with Tesla's Model Y playing a significant role in driving EV adoption. Recent updates to the Model Y's pricing and delivery dates have been announced, offering consumers more options and extended ranges.
As of now, the Model Y is available in Europe in three variants without the "Launch Series" add-on. The base version, the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD), retains its price at 44,990 euros. The current top version with all-wheel drive (LR AWD) has seen a reduction of 2,000 euros, now priced at 52,990 euros. However, due to the removal of the environmental bonus, the effective price has increased by 4,000 euros.
The range of the base version has increased to approximately 500 kilometers due to a slightly larger LFP battery. Other Model Y versions have also seen a slight increase in range, up to 622 kilometers with the large battery and rear-wheel drive, likely due to improved aerodynamics.
Deliveries for the base version of the Model Y are scheduled for May or June, regardless of colour. Unfortunately, no information was provided on the expected delivery dates for the Performance version or the seven-seater version of the Model Y. Tesla has, however, hinted at stronger modifications for the seven-seater version compared to the previous European version, but specific details are yet to be revealed.
Interestingly, the Model Y now includes a new colour option, Ultra Red, which will be available in May. The Model Y continues to be available in white at no extra cost, while black and Stealth Grey cost an additional 1,300 euros. The QuickSilver paint and the new Ultra Red both cost an additional 2,600 euros.
The Model Y with a smaller battery and rear-wheel drive (SR RWD) is priced at 44,990 euros, while the Model Y with a large battery and rear-wheel drive (LR RWD) is now 1,000 euros more expensive. Deliveries of the Model Y LR AWD are expected in March for most paint colours, except for Ultra Red, which will be available in May. Deliveries for the middle version of the Model Y are scheduled for June.
The refreshed Model Y "Juniper" production began in October 2024, with the Launch Series Model Y deliveries starting in the UK in May 2025. Other variants began deliveries shortly after in June 2025. Legacy Model Y versions remain available for delivery in limited pre-built configurations.
In the UK market, the Rear-Wheel Drive starts at £44,990, with prices going up to £51,990 depending on the variant selected. Despite facing competitive pressure and sales challenges in certain markets, the Model Y continues to show high sales penetration in markets like Norway and Spain.
In summary, the main Model Y variants are now priced from roughly 44,990 euros to 52,990 euros in Europe, with new deliveries ongoing since mid-2025 following the Juniper refresh launch. The introduction of the new Ultra Red colour option and the adjustments in pricing and range are expected to attract more consumers to the popular electric vehicle.
After the pricing and delivery updates, the Model Y's base version in Europe is now available in three variants, priced between 44,990 euros and 52,990 euros. The Model Y now offers a new color option, Ultra Red, available at an additional cost of 2,600 euros.
