XPeng Sales Soar in 2025 with Mona M03 and P7+ Leading the Way

The electric vehicle market is abuzz with the impressive sales performance of XPeng's Mona M03 and P7+ models in 2025. According to data from XPeng's Twitter profile, these two vehicles have been driving the company's growth.

Mona M03: A Consistent Seller

The Mona M03 continues to be a strong seller, with over 15,000 units delivered in July 2025. This marks the 11th consecutive month that the electric sedan has surpassed the 10,000 monthly delivery mark. Early in the year, the Mona M03 led the sales among models priced between 100,000 and 200,000 yuan, carving a niche in the mid-priced sedan segment.

P7+: A Valuable Contributor

The P7+, alongside the Mona M03, contributes significantly to XPeng's sales. In the first half of 2025, the two models combined sold over 136,000 units, accounting for about 69% of total XPeng sales. The proportion slightly shifted in Q2 2025, with the Mona M03 accounting for 42.6% and the P7+ accounting for 22.5% of sales, as newer SUV models gained share.

Total Deliveries on the Rise

XPeng's total deliveries have been growing sharply. In the first seven months of 2025, the company delivered approximately 233,906 vehicles, a more than three-fold increase year-over-year, and close to 500,000 vehicles projected for the full year. The new G7 SUV, launched in July, has added momentum, but the Mona M03 and P7+ remain key volume drivers.

Average Selling Price Increase

The average selling price per vehicle increased from approximately 152,800 yuan in Q1 to about 163,600 yuan in Q2, indicating a shift towards higher-value models or refined pricing, benefiting overall revenue.

Weekly Registration Data

Weekly insurance registration data for XPeng in August 2025 shows about 7,890 units, up 243% Year-over-Year, highlighting solid ongoing market demand. The growth in Mona M03 and P7+ numbers offsets declines in older lines, sustaining the company’s expansion.

G7 and G9: New Additions to the Lineup

The G7 SUV was launched on July 3, and deliveries commenced on July 7. In July, the G7 delivered 2,145 units, down 30.52% month-on-month. As of the end of July, the G9 delivered 18,126 units, up 25.35% year-on-year.

In summary, the Mona M03 remains a dominant, competitively priced electric sedan attracting young consumers with intelligent features, while the P7+ complements XPeng's portfolio with strong sales. Together, they are the mainstay of XPeng's impressive delivery growth and market presence in 2025, even as the brand expands into SUV segments.
