Schonfeld's career in security began as a law enforcement officer in Washington, D.C., where he expressed frustration with the inefficiencies and gaps in traditional security methods. This frustration fueled his desire to innovate and modernize the industry.

His experiences in teaching and executive roles in the corporate sector, including an executive position with a Fortune 500 company's Global Security & Safety Technology Group, further shaped his vision for improving security technology and operational effectiveness.

This vision led to the creation of RAS Consulting & Investigations, which developed the RAS Watch solution. This advanced security operations center (GSOC) solution eventually evolved into HiveWatch’s signature offering, GSOC-as-a-Service.

Now at the helm of HiveWatch, Schonfeld leverages his comprehensive on-the-ground law enforcement experience and his deep understanding of security technology to lead efforts in making physical security more scalable, interoperable, and convergent for the modern age.
