Unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show: Electric Four-Door Coupe by Exlantix ES

The Exeed Exlantix ES, a high-performance electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in hybrid, is set to make its debut on the Russian market this summer. This innovative vehicle boasts a combination of power, luxury, advanced technology, and safety features, making it an exciting addition to the EV landscape.

Battery and Charging

The Exlantix ES comes in two battery variants: a range-extender electric vehicle (REEV) with a 40.0 kWh battery, and a pure electric battery electric vehicle (BEV) offering an impressive 82 kWh battery capacity. Fast charging from 30% to 80% at Fast Charge and Ultra Charge stations takes just 15 minutes, while the 40 kWh battery can be charged to full in approximately 18 minutes [1][2].

Performance

The Exlantix ES's drivetrain consists of a 1.5-liter gasoline engine (143 hp) and two electric motors—a synchronous 203-hp motor in front and an asynchronous 265-hp one in the rear. This combination yields a combined output of 469 hp (345 kW) and a torque of 634 N·m. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 3.7 seconds, with a maximum speed of 195 km/h [1].

Dimensions

The Exlantix ES measures 4,980 mm in length, 1,975 mm in width, and 1,698 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 3,000 mm, and it features adjustable ground clearance with a maximum of 240 mm air suspension clearance and a stated clearance of 227 mm [1].

Interior and Comfort

The Exlantix ES offers a luxurious interior with multiple seating positions, rear climate control, a spacious luggage compartment, and advanced center console features. The Exlantix ET variant includes a four-color cockpit, and some versions feature roof-mounted lidar for enhanced driver assistance [1][4].

ADAS and Driving Assistants

The Exlantix series integrates advanced driver assistance systems, including a roof lidar for enhanced sensing. The upcoming Exeed Exlantix E05 SUV will feature Horizon Robotics' Horizon Super Driving system, powered by the Journey 6P chip, which offers very high computing power (560 TOPS) for autonomous driving features [3][4].

Safety and Suspension

The Exlantix ES is equipped with an innovative Intelligent Air Suspension (IAS) with adaptive, adjustable ground clearance, and Continuous Damping Control (CDC). It also features ventilated disc brakes with 6-piston calipers both front and rear, and intelligent traction distribution on both axles that can shift up to 100% power in 0.02 seconds. The vehicle rides on 255/50 R20 tires [1].

Safety Certifications

The Exlantix ES meets the NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) standards for all markets where it is promoted, ensuring a high level of safety for both the driver and passengers.

Design and Development

The Exlantix ES was designed using modern technologies such as CAE (engineering analysis systems) and virtual testing. Peter John Matkin, the head of the international research and development division, played a significant role in its design.

The Exlantix ES is 4,945 mm in length, 1,978 mm in width, and has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It is equipped with 30 intelligent ADAS assistants for added safety and convenience.
