VeEX Inc Launches PX92: A Versatile Handheld PON Analyzer
VeEX Inc has launched the PX92, a versatile handheld PON analyser and multi-gigabit service test set. This new device combines multiple testing capabilities into a single compact platform, streamlining fiber installations and service turn-ups.
The PX92, introduced in 2017, supports both GPON and XGS-PON services, available in pass-through and terminated versions. It offers a wide range of testing features, including multi-gig Ethernet (up to 10G) and Wi-Fi (2.4/5/6 GHz) with Speedtest and RFC6349 (V-PERF).
Before customer equipment deployment, the PX92 verifies provisioning and service readiness through ONT emulation. This helps reduce costly repeat visits during fiber installations. Additionally, the PX92 is integrated with VeEX's Asset Management cloud solutions, enabling report automation, centralised asset management, and instant results sharing.
