Vibe-Coding Startup Anything Raises $11M, Hits $100M Valuation
Vibe-coding startup Anything has raised $11 million in funding, reaching a $100 million valuation. The platform, founded by former Google colleagues Dhruv Amin and Marcus Lowe, allows users to build and monetize apps using natural language descriptions.
Anything's latest funding round was led by Footwork, with additional backing from Uncork, Bessemer Venture Partners, and M13. This follows an August round where Anything secured $8.5 million, including a $5.5 million round led by Bessemer Venture Partners.
The platform, which went live on August 7, quickly gained traction. Within 72 hours, it reached 3.2 million views and over 30,000 new sign-ups. By two weeks post-launch, Anything had more than 700,000 registered users and a $2 million run rate. Anything provides users with essential tools such as databases and payment functionality to help them run businesses or send their creations to the App Store.
Anything aims to scale toward a model of autonomous development teams, with users acting as product managers. To facilitate this, the startup unveiled Anything Max, an autonomous software engineer that tests apps, detects bugs, and ships fixes without user input.
With its latest funding round, Anything continues to grow and innovate in the app development space. The platform's success, marked by rapid user growth and significant funding, signals a promising future for vibe-coding and autonomous development.
