VICIVISION, a specialist in optical measuring systems for over a decade, has unveiled the X-360 Crossover System. This innovative tool caters to the fast-changing manufacturing landscape, offering flexibility and long-term capability. It's already been adopted by dental implant and micro-mechanical manufacturers for its high-resolution imaging and ergonomic handling of small components.
The X-360 is a crossover system that combines ultra-high-resolution measurements with a large measurement volume of 300 x 60 mm. This allows it to measure both small and larger parts with a single instrument, a boon for dental implant manufacturers. VICIVISION's exclusive 'full image' capability captures the entire profile of a loaded part at maximum resolution, ensuring traceability and process validation.
The system captures external profiles of cylindrical components, measuring diameters, lengths, threads, and form errors within seconds. It's equipped with VVLinx communication software for real-time feedback between the measuring system and machine tools, enabling closed-loop manufacturing.
