VisionF's recently unveiled speedboat offers astonishing speeds, capable of reaching an impressive 92 miles per hour at max velocity.
The yachting world is abuzz with excitement as VisionF prepares to unveil its latest creation, the Superfast 46, at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival. This 46-foot high-performance speedboat promises an exhilarating ride, boasting a top speed of 80 knots (equivalent to about 92 mph).
This sleek, aerodynamic vessel is designed for exceptional speed and agility. With a length of 14 meters, it's a compact powerhouse that packs quite a punch. The Superfast 46's unparalleled performance can be attributed to its twin Mercury 450 HP Racing Sportmaster engines and advanced propulsion system, which includes Mercury's Active Trim system, Racing Revolution X propulsion, and VesselView 903 for live performance insights.
Additional control features such as a 6" electric hydraulic jackplate, precision hydraulic steering, and an optional Mercury Joystick Piloting (JPO) system further enhance the boat's manoeuvrability.
The Superfast 46's construction is as impressive as its performance. It utilises advanced composite construction techniques, including infusion and vacuum bagging with multi-axial carbon fiber materials, resulting in a hull that is both lightweight and exceptionally strong.
The interior offers a generous space with a beam of 12 feet, featuring specially designed shock-absorbing seats, high-quality upholstery, and a custom carbon dashboard. The dashboard includes a 19-inch Garmin display and a Silva 85E compass, providing all the necessary information for a seamless sailing experience.
The Superfast 46 is equipped with a marine-grade Fusion Apollo sound system featuring four speakers, a subwoofer, and an MS-RA770 stereo, ensuring an immersive audio experience for its passengers. It also has a dedicated storage area for fenders, a cooler, and batteries.
Seafarers can choose between precision hydraulic steering or a Mercury Joystick Piloting (JPO) system to control the Superfast 46. The boat is also equipped with a carbon-fiber spoiler, a high-gloss paint job, and pop-up Perko navigation lights, adding to its striking appearance.
The first Superfast 46 is nearing completion, and its debut is scheduled for the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, marking a bold departure from VisionF's established design DNA. VisionF currently has eight different models in production, including two fully-electric catamarans, four aluminum cats, one 155-foot multihull, and the Superfast 46.
Rachel Cormack, a digital editor at our website, expressed her anticipation for the Superfast 46, stating, "The Superfast 46 is not just a speed boat, it's a statement. It's powerful, provocative, and purpose-built for speed enthusiasts."
The Superfast 46's fuel tanks hold 600 liters, enabling approximately two hours of adrenaline-fueled cruising. If you're planning to attend the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 9 to 14, be sure to drop by and witness the Superfast 46's world premiere. It's an experience you won't want to miss!
