Volkswagen Expands Transporter Range in 2025 with New Variants
Volkswagen is expanding its Transporter range in 2025 with new variants, including a panel van plus, a flatbed double cabin, and a panel van with an L-shaped partition. These models will offer a blend of passenger and cargo space, with electric drive options and a range of diesel engines.
The panel van plus stands out with its partition featuring a window, allowing for combined transport of people and goods. It can accommodate up to six seats. Additionally, an electric drive with up to 210 kW (286 PS) will be available for all variants.
The new Transporter variants are based on the Ford Transit platform, with production taking place in Turkey. Volkswagen oversees the branding and final development. Engine options range from 110 PS (81 kW) to 150 PS (110 kW) strong turbo diesel, with four-wheel drive 4Motion available.
The flatbed truck with a double cabin offers a spacious 4.2 m² loading area and up to six seats. The VW Bus Transporter will also gain new variants, including a flatbed double cabin and a panel van with a special L-partition for transporting long objects on the driver's side.
Prices for the new Transporter variants start at €38,525 for the panel van plus, €39,990 for the panel van with L-partition, and €41,158 for the flatbed with double cabin, all excluding VAT. These models are set to provide versatile solutions for both passenger and cargo transport needs.
