Web3-influenced shades debut in collaboration between Stepn and Pantone
Stepn, the lifestyle app that rewards users for physical activity through NFT sneakers, has partnered with Pantone, marking Pantone's first official venture into the Web3 space. This collaboration aims to embody the shared values of both partners, emphasizing creativity, sustainability, and user empowerment in digital experiences.
The significance of this partnership lies in combining Stepn’s Web3 lifestyle app with Pantone’s global authority on color to create a unique aesthetic and cultural dimension for Stepn's new product, STEPN GO. This collaboration results in co-branded limited-edition digital sneakers, such as the STEPN GO Purple Genesis Sneaker, which integrate Pantone’s distinct color identity with Stepn's move-to-earn concept, enhancing the product’s appeal through exclusive design and collectible value.
Pantone's leadership recognized the collaboration as a milestone. They emphasized that the integration of Pantone's signature colors into the Genesis Sneaker collection reflects a unique convergence of color and movement, where digital fashion and physical activity meet. Two exclusive Pantone colors, PANTONE 16-0163 STEPN Green and PANTONE 265 STEPN GO Purple, have been launched as part of the partnership.
The STEPN Green sneakers will be released through a Raffle Mint from July 23 to 27, offering 150 units across four distinct green-themed designs. On the other hand, the STEPN GO Purple Genesis sneakers will be made available through a limited auction, with just 25 pairs being offered.
Users can collect, wear, or trade these sneakers within the Stepn and STEPN GO ecosystems, adding utility to aesthetic innovation. The rewards can be reinvested to level up, enhance virtual appearances, or be monetized. Furthermore, users are able to lend sneakers, thus expanding participation and promoting community engagement.
Stepn representatives expressed pride in collaborating with Pantone, referring to it as an iconic force in global design. With over 5.7 million registered users worldwide, this partnership is expected to elevate Stepn GO's branding and user engagement through color storytelling, as highlighted by Pantone’s role in defining color language worldwide. The limited edition sneakers tied to Pantone’s colors foster exclusivity and community excitement, supported by activities like raffles and auctions with bidding rewards on partner platforms like MOOAR.
The partnership is focused on enhancing Stepn's new product, STEPN GO, which focuses on integrating fitness with social connectivity. Pantone brings its industry expertise in standardized color systems to this partnership. Its technologies and tools are widely used in graphic design, fashion, and product development. Overall, the STEPN x Pantone collaboration enhances STEPN GO’s market differentiation as a lifestyle Web3 app that blends fitness, digital collectibles, and artful design.
