Westfield Centro Hosts Police Equipment Showcase with Helmet Safety Demo
On Saturday, March 22, from 10:00 to 16:00, Westfield Centro in Oberhausen will host an event showcasing police equipment. Representatives from Stiftung Opferhilfe Niedersachsen and WEISSE RING e.V. Niedersachsen will also be present to promote traffic accident prevention using a helmet simulator.
The event, free to attend, will offer insights into internet crimes, fraud methods, burglary protection, and pickpocketing. Visitors can expect to see a variety of police vehicles, including patrol cars, motorcycles, and emergency vehicles. A highlight will be the 'Mobiel Media Lab', a 22-ton truck from the Dutch police.
The helmet simulator will demonstrate the effects of a traffic accident on the skull with and without a helmet. This interactive display aims to raise awareness about the importance of helmet use in preventing serious injuries.
The event at Westfield Centro promises to be both informative and engaging, offering the public a chance to learn about police work and safety measures firsthand. The helmet simulator adds a practical dimension, driving home the importance of protective gear in traffic accident prevention.
