Xiaomi teases the arrival of Mix Flip 2, potentially featuring Qualcomm's top-tier processing powerhouse
Xiaomi, the leading Chinese tech company, has officially announced its latest innovation – the Mi Mix Flip 2 – a high-end foldable smartphone that promises cutting-edge technology and a sleek design. The much-anticipated device was unveiled at a launch event held in China on June 26, 2025, alongside other Xiaomi devices.
The Mi Mix Flip 2 is internally referred to as the Xiaomi 2505APX7BC and is expected to make its global debut alongside its Chinese launch. This successor to Xiaomi's Mix Flip phone is tipped to outshine its predecessor with several impressive features.
At its heart, the Mi Mix Flip 2 houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, an octa-core processor with a 3nm architecture and a maximum clock speed of 4.32GHz. This powerful processor is coupled with options of 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, ensuring smooth performance and ample space for users' needs.
The Mi Mix Flip 2 boasts a stunning 6.85-inch primary folding screen with a resolution of approximately 1.5K (1224 x 2912 pixels) and a 21:9 aspect ratio. This AMOLED display features a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and a responsive user experience. The device also sports a 4.01-inch external touchscreen for easy access to notifications and basic functions without the need to open the clamshell frequently.

It also includes a range of sensors, including a fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light, barometer, compass, gyroscope, proximity, and hall sensor.
