Xiaomi Unveils HyperOS 3 With Apple Compatibility Boost
Xiaomi has unveiled HyperOS 3, its latest operating system, on Thursday. The update brings several new features and improvements, including enhanced compatibility with Apple devices and a unique interface for multitasking.
HyperOS 3 introduces a three-island coexistence layout, allowing users to view multiple types of information simultaneously. This innovative design enables users to work efficiently and switch between tasks with ease.
The new system also extends compatibility with Apple devices. Users can now sync iPhone notifications and transfer files seamlessly between their Apple devices and Xiaomi gadgets. Additionally, users can share trips or schedules through WeChat using quick actions via mini windows.
The update began rolling out to eligible devices on Aug. 29, with Lei Jun, the founder and CEO of Xiaomi, overseeing the development of HyperOS 3. The system also features the Super Island interface, designed to enhance interactions with smart devices.
